About That CZ Shadow 2...

I'm trying to get a feel for that. It seems to be just the ticket for the run n' gun gang but what about slow fire bullseye...? I can't seem to find any reviews on it that test it that way, it's like everyone shoots steel with it and that's it...any thoughts, boys?
 
Well in all reality, the shadow 2 was a gun designed entirely for IPSC production, hence why it dominates in that division.
I can't really comment on bullseye shooters as it's something I've never had an interest in, but the few times I've seen guys doing it they're usually shooting some form of the Ruger MK_ .22 pistols. But I could be totally wrong on that.
 
I can't comment on the 2, but I can on the 1.

I've done some load development and found CFE pistol and CCI primers to be the best combo.
I've owned 2 S&W M&P 9mm ( 1 with apex kit).
S&W SVDE 9 mm
Glock 17 9mm
Springfield RO 1911 9mm

I found the CZsp01 to be the most accurate , of them all.
That was from my first CZ, but I haven't done any load development for my new one.
All load testing was done with the gun being rested on a sand bag,at 25 yards.
 
I shoot a match 1911 and love it... but I am looking at that Shadow 2, and for some reason that thing is crying out to me that she's a good target gun too - I like the way it's put together.
 
I've seen a barrel bushing on CGW that supposed to give an even tighter fit to improve accuracy even more. Anyone done that upgrade?

The only benifit of the 2,over the 1 ,is the adjustable rear sight.
For target shooting anyways.

But maybe there's something else??

You can get a good shadow 1,for $750-$800 off the EE.
About $200 all in for a good set of adjustable sights.

So for under a $1000 you should be GTG.

The S1 and S2 are inherently accurate enough for bullseye shooting. A good shooter can probably cover 3" all day at 25yds.
The trigger is a great help. The FO sights may not be. And the gun is heavy if you bullseye all day.
Then again, bull barreled revolvers are heavy too!

after the 9th minute he starts shooting it at 7 and 10 meters (using competition reloads). Not bad, not a bulls eye shooter all the time. Beautiful pistol no less :). A bit like an iPhone, priced way over the cost to produce in my view ;)

Will I get one if I find a decent deal ? YES, RIGHT AWAY :)

 
I own one, and at 25 yards, I'm slightly more accurate with it, versus my Beretta 92A1, and PPQ M2 Navy, but not as accurate as my S&W 41 .22 cal. If you are on the fence, get it! Gorgeous and good performing! No regrets.
