You should go a bit into camping equipment with tarps and hammocks. I'd also look into the Glo-toob copies the Chinese have been copying which makes for a great lantern/emergency flashlight. There may be a market for mess kits, trangia stoves and titanium fork/spoons.

As for guns I would have to say try and get the type 97 in AK caliber with AK mags and you will sell out in no time.
Also have you thought about a new Canadian manufactured sten? Return of long branch? With laser cut sheet metal these days you'd be able to subcontract most of the parts for dirt cheap and have them put together locally by a competent welder.
Or have you considered MasterPiece Arms from the USA? They have some models that would seem to be far enough in lineage that they might not be all prohibited.

definitely would like an inexpensive stainless lever in say .44 mag. But from your post levers ain't gonna happen so how about...

replica canons?

semi-auto gatling?

I mentioned it over in the other shorty thread, but a 'bare minimum length' single shot break action 12ga w/ some sub caliber inserts (or even just a .22 insert) would sure be nice. The X-Caliber kits are neat, but awfully spendy. Something that can shoot buck, slugs, and 22 lr, while being lighter than a combo over/under would be a neat piece of camping gear.

Maybe a hinged buttplate to store the 22 insert, a couple of shotshells, and a handful of 22lr?

I know synthetic/stainless would probably be more practical, but blued with nice walnut would be my preference, even on something like that.

...with a scabbard :)

I think a 7.62 version's magazine wouldn't clear the pistol grip when trying to rock in/out, so making one would require more than just a simple re-chambering. I suspect even the 5.56 versions don't even sell all that well because of the high lemon count of the first batch, which is too bad, they're fun rifles.

Police trade ins ..... military surplus ..... cheap revolvers any surplus source for these? Maybe crates of these in grease from china from old police revolvers?
