First Time Purchase - Can't Say Enough Good Things About Tenda

I had never bought anything from Tenda before last Friday, August 18th, when I noticed that they were offering by far the best price on the S&W 629 5" ($899), something I'd been seeking for quite some time. So I bit the bullet, so to speak, and placed the order online in the morning. A couple of hours later, I received an email stating that a note had been added to my order - checked the order online and found that it was the CFC reference number. I thought, "Right on, transfer is happening." Monday morning rolled around and I realized that they were closed on Mondays, so I didn't think anything would be happening, but to my surprise I received another email informing me of another note added to my order, this time providing the Canpar tracking number. So obviously even though they were closed, somebody was still there working away and getting things done. Checked the tracking info on Tuesday morning and saw that the package was picked up and on its way. And here I am, at 1pm on Thursday, with my brand new 629.

I couldn't be happier with how this purchase went. A basically 4-business-day lead time on a restricted from Toronto to Calgary is about as good as it gets. It showed up packaged nicely and the free targets tossed in were a nice touch. Can't wait to try these guys out again, fantastic job.
 
Thank you for your support, we used close on Mondays, but due to customer's demands, we now open 7 days in a week in order to better serve our clients.

Ya, I used to forget that until I was around Highway 7 and Leslie.. One time I was half way there to pick up a long awaited restricted and case of ammo. When I remembered, the heartbreak was worse than my first breakup. Lets never break up again, Tenda.
 
There are a lot of retail and internet vendors with good prices on the things we buy. Tenda is consistently the best priced- period. Firearms, ammo, supplies- you name it. If someone out there is selling it cheaper then I'd have to see it to believe it! Cheap is one matter being good at what you do is another. They have a professional and courteous staff always willing to respond promptly to questions and emails. I asked them how do they do what they do so well? She just smiled and said "ancient Chinese secret" with a wink. They've always delivered on their promises to me so I think this is the least I can do. I hope Tenda is here for a very long time!
 
Honestly I think Tenda is the new CanadaAmmo! Its like what they used to be back in the days when everything was in stock and at a low price. Its my new go to online store to buy ammo.

I had a very similar experience with Tenda just recently. Although my restricted transfer took more than 3 weeks because I'm in Ontario and ...well you know the story. The delay was not anything Tenda did or could have helped with. Once the transfer completed, Package arrived 2 days later. Nicely packaged...free targets ...everything as it should be. I will definitely buy again from Tenda without hesitation. I did everything online...ordered, paid, got email updates, checked my order status and followed the tracking of the package from start to finish. Never had to think about contacting them directly by phone.

Another satisfied and happy customer.
 
Wow I ordered a gun on Thursday morning and I sent an email to them saying I would like an email confirming when they are beginning the transfer. I get a response saying they couldn't start the process because they didn't have my club info. Nobody emailed to say it was missing so if I hadn't emailed who knows what would happen. Then I email back numerous times to give them the info they need and also to verify they are starting it as it is Friday and if hey don't start it I'll have to wait an extra two days on the weekend. Still no response. A big fat zero for customer service so far.
 
Two weeks ago I ordered from Canada ammo (nice people to deal with). Contacted the the CFO and asked for an email notification... still waiting. Bought from General Gun a couple months ago; one week. No pattern... makes one wonder if the CFOs may have "favorites".
 
No I was meaning they haven't even submitted to start the process. Nothing to do with cfo. Everything to do with bad customer service. Done return emails either.

Had one problem like that a few months ago buying a restricted. Waited a week, no reference number was given. Called them, they had submitted it same day I ordered but it had gotten stuck somehow during the submittal (they apply for transfers online and was late on a friday when I ordered). So they cancelled, resubmitted, and was approved 6 hours later. More often than not its a technical issue, not customer service. Been my experience anyhow
