MK12 clones...who's got 'em? Let's see them! -- Weapon specs added

At the request of Mr. Donut here are my MK12's.

I threw the lasers on there for effect only. They usually ride on something else.

I just have a Colt Canada lower outfitted on the MOD 0 for now until I can get my A1 lower together for it. There is too many hours and years of work piecing them together, but they came out just how I wanted in the end. They are sub MOA with 75-77gr ammo as well :)

Well I just ordered the RAS which is the hardest part for me to swallow TBH. The cost of a decent match barrel spent on an outdated design. CSC were pretty responsive but it's 4 months out...

I think this will take years.

4 months wait? Holy. I waited maybe two or three months, but gave me time to save for it.

I think KAC manufactures them in batches? i've noticed that they also sell out once in a while and prices skyrocket on ebay, then after a while, they become available again after a few months.

Yeah, the RAS was a hard pill for me to swallow as well.

I think a good chunk of that is CSC getting a KAC order together - I'm sure they want to build a decent order. But 4 months is ok with me - give me some time to save for it. The RAS nearly broke me, I'd not usually buy a $500 cheese grater handguard. But it will provide impetus to do this right - even if it takes a while.

No kidding, $500 for cheese graters. Just for $hits and giggles, i looked up the clone correct hand guard for the Mk11 and m110 and almost had a heart attack.

Mark 4 scopes are kind of a pain in the #### to source for cheap.

I can't in good conscience pay $1,900 for outdated glass tech. Even $1,000 for a used one makes almost no sense to me when all you're getting is a mildot, SFP scope in MOA adjistments.

Still, the OCD in me is looking for a beater Mark 4, don't care about cosmetics as long as the glass is clear and the turrets are mechanically sound.
 
If there's anyone in the Toronto area looking for Colt made 5/20 mags, there's a guy selling 9 of them in EE, $225 for the lot.

I think he sold them......damn. I just wanted one, lol!
