Gunsmith recommendation in GTA for a rifle stock bedding

Hi everyone,

I'm wondering who do you guys recommend for an excellent bedding job in GTA? I don't have time to do it myself and I don't want to ship the rifle, so I'm looking for a local gunsmith who has a proven record of his jobs. Thank you in advance for all recommendations.

I did mine myself and it turned out really well. Go slow and take a "measure twice, cut once" mentality and it's not a bad project. These were the instructions I followed:

It is frustrating having to wait when you want work done, but it is not "nonsense".

Those are a couple of the top rifle shops in Canada, and they are very busy for a good reason. They turn out high quality / Match and Championship winning builds.......

Sometimes you just have to wait.......

What kind of rifle and stock? Depending what you're doing with it you may be very satisfied with an aluminum bedding block stock without glass bedding. Well under MOA performance, consistently. I wouldn't go out of my way to purchase a wood stock with all of the other offerings that are available.

I glass bedded one myself and pillared another and it's not a bad job. Make sure you have applied an ample amount of release agent and plug all the crevices with modeling clay. It shot well afterward but I replaced the stock with an aluminum bedding block model and get the same performance even without skim bedding or bedding the recoil lug. That said, I'm not a benchrest competitor so my needs may not be the same as yours.
