Hey guys,

I was looking around online in Canadian websites for AR/tactical style firearms and I already knew about the Mossberg 715t which will likely be my first purchase. HOWEVER,
on the website I will link below, I found another version i think called Mossberg C.22 tactical rifle. IT IS CHEAPER but it seems the same...

Anyone have any information on the comparison between the two and any reviews/guidelines which one is better?

Thanks guys heres the link

Don't know much about the C.22.

I bought a 715T to get my kids into shooting and it has been great fun. I made a small adjustment to the magazine release to get it to work better for me. It has been very enjoyable and I cannot remember ever having a failure to eject or jam.

They are well worth the money, very reliable and a lot of fun.

715T has had a lot of negative comments over the years, but I've had no problem with mine. I do think, like the 10/22, that mag cap is restricted to 10 because of pistol versions being brought out.

Don't buy the cheapest junk that's available. Do yourself a favor and buy something that is of decent quality, such as a 10/22, or literally anything except a Mossberg.

I have a Mossberg 715T and..... let me tell you it has not been an enjoyable experience especially for a plinkster that I expect to be shooting lots when I go to the range. I've gone through several types of cartridges to try and see which takes best but none has very good results. I've use Aguila's, CCI's, Remingtons, Winchesters, bulk ammo.... Nothing wants to be consistent, I will get jams every couple shots if not every shot! I have taken this thing apart and cleaning it, filed and sanded out spots, watched videos, talked to people at the range whom also had 715t's. I don't know to me, its just chalked up as a terrible design and firearm all way round. From a price perspective, they're definetly not worth the money, a $29.99 Canadian Tire bb gun is more reliable...

Check out the ISSC Mk 22 as well. IRG had a deal for the new gen version with 3 mags, shipped to your door all in for $500 Cdn. They crop up on EE and are not subject to 715 or 10/22 10-rd mag limit (if mag capacity is a deciding factor for you)

I really like my GSG-15. Put about 10k rounds through without issue. I've heard nothing but bad things about anything mossberg that isn't a shotgun. The GSG is pretty much same gun as the ISSC mk22 mentioned above but manufactured in Germany and is a little more refined imo.

Sorry for the late reply guys.
Thanks for all the input and knowledge !

Just out of curiosity why do rifles keep getting a Mag limit ? Because the mag for the rifle could fit inside a handgun? Is that correct?
Also what other tactical rifles are there WITHOUT a mag limit such as the mk 22 as Gcdavidson mentioned?

Correct, that is the reasoning behind the magazine restriction on the Mossberg 715. I guess the magazine could be used in a pistol.

If only I had bought mine a month before I could have got the 25 round mags!!!

Well, I just won second out of about 30 in our cross-country .22 shoot scoped class with a simmons red dot on my wife's plinkster (my rifle is at the gunsmith) so it shot better than a bunch of more expensive rifles (1 st went to a CZ; third to a cooey). 10/22's were not even in the running in either the scoped or open classes.

It will eat anything, but I was shooting Federal Auto-match.
