Modding a tikka t3x

Hi all

I really want a tikka t3 battue, but they only come right handed. The battue sights come up so fast everytime i shoulder the rifle i have become sort of obsessed with them. I want one for a bush gun while i'm pushing game.

Is there a way to add the tikka battue sights to a left handed t3x? Are there other aftermarket iron sights similar to the battue sights i could add?

Why not just shoot a right handed gun? As a lefty it is all I can use.

It's not that I'm left handed, but I'm so left eye dominant (due to astigmatism) that i shoot left. Tried switching and it didnt go well...

Can anybody in your area rebarrel it for you ? That may be the only chance. I tried to order from the importer but it takes more than six months for anything to happen.

I have a right handed battue in 30-06 I love it, short barrel light weight. I take it every where being that its light and short makes it a lot more portable. I own scoped rifles and they have there place when hunting starts but honestly I carry this more. Good luck

Buy one of each, swap barrels, sell the other in the EE. It's more money up front, but you'll get a good chunk back.

I've bought certain rifles just for certain features (stock, lever, sights, etc) swapped them and sold the donar. Just price it accordingly with full disclosure.

same here, been there done that, I can even take a loss because it saves a huge amount of time. In Canada, the part source is not really there.
btw the battue sights are all on the barrel so you need to index it right
