SIG P225 holster

For those of you who own P225s and other Sig pistols, what do you use for holsters ?

Can you use a P226/P228 compatible holster like we can do with a Glock 19 in Glock 17 holster ?

P226, 229 and 225 all have different holsters.

Reason I'm asking is that I see holsters listed for 220/225/226/228

Depends on holster manufacture, generation of pistol "p220 45acp vs euro p220 9mm"

What brand are you looking at for a holster?

Most P226 holster fit P220 45acp guns. P225s have smaller frame and a different style trigger guard.

Actually shopping around for a friend. He is looking for some kydex holster. I showed him my G-Code RTI setup for my Glock 19 and he wanted the same setup. The G-Code holster says it will fit 226/228/220.

Best to order one made specifically to fit the 225. Big dogs Blade-Tech and Safariland are options, as are smaller makers like CCC and JM Custom Kydex.

If he uses the Serpa, the 225 will rattle around in it, but the finger lock will still engage.

I think Solely Canadian is going to be the solution for lvl 2 RTI holster

I have Bianchi's for my 226 and 229's. For my 225 I was lucky enough to find a store in Buffalo that happen to have a Lou Alessi one.

The P229 slide is wider and frame shape is different.
