Early reports are that the birdshead grip is quite slippery and that the finger grooves are somewhat uncomfortable...just FYI.

I like it and the price is great.

A year ago I would have jumped on it immediately but the lack of parts & lack of being able to modify as desired for these turkish guns turns me off.

Temping though, like I said great price.

How is the reliability? I don't know much about them.

Got mine in on Tuesday, after some super-fast shipping from Corwin! Good solid feeling gun, action was a bit stiff to begin with but smoothed out after firing about 75 rounds of mixed Winchester AA's, Buckshot and some slugs. Had two hiccups right off the bat, blame that on the stiff action not allowing a full stroke - no problems after the break in.
Was getting really nice patterns with the modified choke at 25 yards, although you really have to concentrate to hold the bird's head pistol grip accurately!

All in all, awesome gun at a fantastic price! As a matter of fact, I was so impressed with these shotguns that I got another one off the EE - the Bulldog model with 12.5 inch barrel and a gorgeous walnut stock. Even came with a barrel extender that brings the barrel to 18.5 inches, AND you can still put chokes in it!! - this will be my main brush/field shotgun this fall! Talk about versatility - goes from viable hunting shotgun to tacticool in about 30 seconds.

Thank you for your feed back. Is it drilled and tapped for mounting optics? Does it have a chrome lined barrel? ( prob not, but just wondering )

edit: Also is that short version non restricted?

Ok it looks like it's 1" over the legal length. Nice.

It's not drilled and tapped for optics, but the barrel is chrome lined which is awesome. Overall length on the shorty is 27 inches.

I like the look of the vented barrel but the foregrip looks like a loaf of bread. Does it scratch up the receiver? It that a light rail on the bottom? Perfect location to grate your hand.
The BH grip could use a layer of grip tape. For the $$, I'd consider getting one.....

The fore end is a bit bigger than other shotguns, but it actually feels pretty good. Doesn't scratch the receiver at all, and the ribs on it give a really good grip. What I found rather surprising was how comfortable it was to shoot with the BH grip. I didn't find it slippery at all, no grip tape required.
