ar10 upper on bcl102?

Has anybody tried to see if an ar10 upper will fit on a 102? bolt carriers compatible?

In actuality, the lower is classified, if it accepts AR10 uppers with out modification to the lower, that is irrelevant to classification as a varient of. However the barrel length will require it to be classified accordingly.

Bcg not compatible. No idea on the upper. I wouldn't recommend it, I am fairly certain that it would not work. I did notice when changing the handguard that the pins placement is the same since my vice block is for an ar10, but I suspect it wouldn't function if you tried.

It's fair to be curious. I suspect the shape of the upper and lower are different, and I know the bcg is not interchangeable.

I'd hate to be the guy that slapped a restricted upper (yes I know the upper is not the restricted part) on it and got the whole platforms frt reversed. I'm sure bcl would have made them incompatible. I'm just saying don't give them a reason, after all the crazy things they have restricted for no real reason at all I'd not mess with a good thing.

From what I see so far the bolt maybe tho. And it's an armalite barrel extension.
Now just gotta wait for an armalite barrel headspaced to a bolt

My ArmaLite BCG drops right in...but I haven't checked the head space. I measured the BCL and the ArmaLite, and they are very close to each other. 1 or 2 ten thousands of an inch difference between the two.
