My wife is unimpressed.

I got sick of the arguments about personal purchases both ways. Now an equal percentage of each paycheck goes into separate his and her "slush" accounts to be spent with no questions asked.

No, she had it nestled nicely in the shoulder pocket and I took a burst of pics as she let fly..... Just simply can't quite manage it ;)

Scary with my ought six and even has me concerned with the H&H with a little range time....

I bought a 6.5x55 for my wife because I had no non-restricted centerfires light enough for her to shoot and big enough to kill deer but not too much recoil. I did some smithing on it before she found out; shorten barrel and re-crown, shorten stock, install grind to fit Limbsaver, bed scope bases and install scope. Then she asked what I've been working on in the detached shop... Oh, it's your new gun, honey. She rolled her eyes and got a bit miffed that I "bought another one." But now she seems to be looking forward to shooting deer with it.
 
Mine was scared by the noise and recoil.....a 28 Ga. Then she killed a water bottle, proudly tells her friends that she did it again....to prove it wasn't a fluke. Now has settled for the 410 SxS, and the CZ527 x39, I bought for her*.

In fairness, the Rottweiler outweighs the deer....but the grouse are Blues.

Woman hates birds. Lucky for me, she still likes me, and calls me a "collector".

The nice part anbout buying firearm-related stuff from SFRC (which is my local go-to store) is that the credit card bill shows “South Frontenac Rental Center”... the wife did comment recently that I seem to “rent” from them quite often!
 
I've got 3 wifes , 5 girlfriends and never married and none of my dimes give me hard time for what I buy in fact I get them.to fund some of the purchases ...Point is women are here to compliment your life not complicate it ..And if yours are doing the latter your all doing it wrong !!!!
