So I finally installed a top rail on my sabertooth sks that was gathering dust in the vault.

I also slapped my Vortex Viper PST 1-4X on it.

So here the target at 50 yard with the 4x settings.

I think this is a nice grouping for a sks and I wasn't getting this without the sabertooth stock.

My opinion is that its a solid stock but a little bit pricey. (you pay for quality)

looks nice, but as usual I have a problem with rear pin in-pin out... unless you don't do it often and the front should go away as you have a rail which allows optics/ backup sights
not bad.. what about 100yrds with the scope?

Well I got the sabertooth for free because I named it 2 years ago (but its 350$)

The sks was 219$ (russian)
The pistol grip and stock was 100$
The top rail with ez-pin was 100$
Scope and cantilever was 400$ but they were on my ar-15 and I bought a red dot instead.

So if I count everything without the scope

Around 800$

Its not cheap but its a really fun and beautiful gun although a bit heavy. Way better than the original.

Hard to disassemble for cleaning?

No not really harder but I would advice not to buy this if you have the top rail and are shooting corrosive.

You just unscrew the little block behind the receiver and then its like a normal sks.

With the top rail attached to rear sight its a little harder but the receiver and everything go out. I didn't try to remove the gas piston though.
