It would be electro penciled on the outside of the metal somewhere.
This is making me want to go back and get the other 51, but my sks bunnies have multiplied enough, is there any wear of the blueing around the muzzle? The one I was looking at has a bit of blueing loss there.

No, there is nothing electro penciled on the outside then. And no, no loss of bluing.
 
Looks like you got a nice one. I cant tell 100% for sure, but from the posted pics it could be nonrefurb - assuming the internals match. In any event, that is a nice one compared with what Ive seen lately.
 
I've bought a few from Al.
As bp2626 said earlier, you need 15 or so pics to be sure. Or have it in your hands. I'm not sure about yours either. But they are certainly comparable to yours.
I'd bet both are unrefurbished. I don't think it's a super great deal though. Good price, yes. Great price, no.

I guess we're fortunate in Canada as far as SKS's go. My American friends are drooling over mine :p
