I know its a joke, I just wanted to see a pickup line with T81 in it. It was lackluster.

OK I get it now.So something along the lines of, Hi there wanna come on over to my house and check out the curves of my Type 81. It's blond fixed or folding and ribbed for your pleasure. Kinda like that

From how I read it, the rifles will be arriving to TI in 2-4 weeks perhaps even just arriving to the port, not to our homes in 2-4. If the presale has sold 75% of the rifles, it may take a while to prepare orders, label, etc etc.

they've had plenty of time to pre-print labels...all preorders are paid in full so it's not like a stack of pre-printed shipping labels with all our names on them is jumping the gun...

I can totally get that. I'm just being realistic here. To see them ourselves within a month, in my opinion, probably is pushing it. And I say that as someone with a pre-order. I certainly check their Facebook and this forum daily in hopes of good news.

I will jump in but cant choose between fixed or folding stock, cant buy both at this time :p
The folder makes sense for storage purposes. It also takes up less space on the inside of armoured vehicles and therefore makes it easier to mount and dismount.

The folder may be very rigid but remember it's a moving part in time it will get loose.

I went with the fixed. It's classic and timeless.

That's the issue really. They don't give us any news. Surely ti knows exactly where the rifle's are, if they left China, islf they are in Canadian soil, etc. They simply choose to. It be bothered passing along any info at all.

I am a pre-order customer, but I find it maddening.

Nothing worst than for us in vancouver, we can see the freighter from Stanley park waiting to unload, inspected and then truck back east , just to be mailed back to me at the point of entry. Grrrrrr.
