Ontario Transfer Wait Times?

I am still not too sure that I get this. Other provinces (incl. Quebec), the wait times are 24-36 hrs. In ontario, they are 2-3 weeks. I know that working for the federal government, resources are provided based on population index. They SHOULD have the required officers to deal with firearm transfers. Two to three weeks is unacceptable! I am just glad that I got transferred to Saskatchewan. The CFO's here are extremely professional and helpful, where transfers here are almost always with 24 hrs. I had one transfer approved that same afternoon .

On another note anyone get treated like a criminal when
you phone in ? Two of the three pistols I've purchased so far I've phoned in and been treated like a bag of poop.

I'm a very polite person but they always seem to be in a bad mood. I've gotten people from other provinces and they seemed very nice. I guess it's an Ontario thing.

Depends who you get on the phone I guess.
I called in last Tuesday to complete my part of a transfer and got a very friendly lady on the phone.

Ontario retail transfer started on the 26th, completed today. 10 business days.

Ontario retail transfer started on August 31st, Approved on September 15th. 11 business days. This was my first restricted. Hopefully the three others that I'm waiting for are just as fast.

Private transfer started on Sept 11th. Will post when completed. Will also see if I actually get an email this time.

The last two transfers I have done they seem to forget to email it even when requested. Add 10 days in the mail to the normal really slow process unless you stay on them.

QC CFO took 2 days, AB - less than 24 h, it seems Ontario is the worst, I still wait a transfer to Ontario to complete since Sep 5th

I'm at 6 weeks for a private transfer and 2 weeks from a business. Ontario is the most PATHETIC province ......................
