Sometime between next week and Xmas.
Sizes aside, $20 is not much money in exchange for looking like a true Chinese Operator!
I wasn't interested in the pouch till I saw the rifle grenades, tucked neatly inside the pouch.
Any chance of us getting the dummy grenade?

we're about the same size, although I'm slightly heavier due to early onset of dad bod disorder...and mine also fits just like that...For reference I'm 6'1 and 195 pounds and it fits me perfectly. It definitely has a surplus stink to it though. All in all I'd say it was worth the $20 or so that I paid.

The Type 81 rig has 4 30 rd single mag pouches and 2 smaller ancillary pouches.
Perhaps you have a Type 56 (AK) rig which has 3 30 rd single mag pouches and 4 ancillary pouches? There is also a Type 56 rig with 3 30 rd double mag pouches with dividers and 4 ancillary pouches.
Others:
Type 53 (Mosin Nagant) has 10 2x5 rd charger pouches.
Type 56 (SKS) rig has 9 2x10 rd charger pouches and 1 ancillary pouch.
Type 63 rig has 5 20 rd single mag pouches and 2 ancillary pouches.
Type 79 (SMG) rig has 4 20 rd slim single mag pouches and 2 ancillary pouches.
Type 79/85 (SVD) rig has 6 pouches.
Confused yet? There are other PLA chest rig and webbing variations as well.
It is a cheap and easy upgrade to attach a Fastex buckle to the back strap without permanently modifying the rig.
If you find the Type 56/81 mag pouches too deep you can insert wood blocks as suggested or even cheaper, lighter and quicker, blocks of closed cell foam (left over pieces cut out of a Pelican case work great)

Mine fits like this too except the buckle at the back of it won't close cuz it's meant for a 120lb Asian

For standing on guard, mostly for show, on a busy Chinese street in a more or less peaceful city?
It looks like he may also be sporting a glock - kinda haute-couture for a third world warlord flunky.
