New Product: Type 2A AR mag coupler

I have 2 or 3 of the type 2 left, message me if you would like to buy them.

Opinions vary I guess, I much prefer the 2a ... they will actually work well with both mag types although they were designed to fit the ones shown in the pics above (what I refer to as the type 2 mag).

They turn the type 1 mags into a long stick mag shape.

The Universal Magwedge

The same coupler with different style LAR15 mags .... your 2A coupler will do double duty.

Just an FYI ...

The long extension never appealed to me that much as a product. It is more costly to produce and having the extra mag just makes sense.

Have other manufacturers stopped making them, and is there really that much demand?

I have a few of the plastic extensions for my Elander 10 round M-305 mags and had to put tape around them to make them secure . :(
I would rather just have a metal mag extension with your wedge as well for my LAR mags. I am just using magpuls on the bottom now as I don't care for having the extra 10 round mag under a mag coupler.

I bought 6 of those Magwedges.....I just wish they would give the combined mags less of an angle........No way to fit them easily in mag pouches

See post 11 in this thread, the type 2a give a gentle angle which mimics the curve of a 30 round mag, so no problems fitting a mag pouch.

If you mate the type 1 coupler with a type 2 mag you get a sharp angle, so get the correct coupler for the mag you have.
