Sig mags?

I got 3 base plates from TRT Tactical and they took ~ 1Wk to get here, so nice and quick. Good product. Planned on just mounting them up to factory P226 magazines.
A few days after I ordered from TRT, I found out that Calgary Shooting Centre had some fabbed and for sale in the custom parts counter, so got 2 from them along with some Sig factory 10rnd mags.
When you factor in exchange and shipping they come out to roughly the same price at both places, and I'd say they take ~10 seconds to mount up to the magazine once you figure it out. That goes for both the TRT and the CSC models.
The two Mec-Gar pinned 17 Rounders that came with my X6 work flawlessly, but of the 3 factory Sig 226 magazines I've tried with the new baseplates, only one feeds in to the magwell without jamming up.
I knew that TRT sold permanently limited X5 Mec-Gar 17rnd magazines with baseplates, but did not think they would ship them to Canada. Will definitely be grabbing a few of those, so thanks @sailor723

PS: FYI, the CSC also sells the factory P226 mags with X5/X6 baseplates already installed. Saw two on the rack last week if you wanted to try that route.

The mags arrived from TRT today. They came through Customs without any HST or duty being charged so that was an unexpected bonus. I have tried them in my X5 and they latch in, hold the slide open, and release normally. They appear identical to the two that came with the gun. I won't be able to try them at the range for a while as my wife confiscated them to use as stocking stuffers. The good news is that she paid me what they cost me.:d
