Still can’t find any tracking hosts for the bayonet ? We any of you able to track yours ? Chest rig and sling came up under Canada Post. It’s a HK number ? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers

The length of the barrel shouldn't be an issue, as long as the barrel thickness is unchanged. The ring on the bayo slides over the barrel, so it can stop wherever along the barrel. It might make it a bit wobbly depending where the ring stops, but who cares, you're not going to have to bayonet anyone for realsies anyway. It's all about LCF.

I was thinking the same thing. It’s not like there is a front sight post to stop it and it tapers in, so there should be no reason why it should attach

That isn't the only cause for concern, there is also a under muzzle guide on the bayonet behind the ring. I pictured and spoke on this pages back. This will most likely have to be ground off of the bayonet to get past the muzzle. Won't know for sure until we have these in our hands but I wouldn't be buying inflated bayonets that will most likely need to be modified to use.

See post #852 for more details.

RL1 and myself snapped those pics at the Toronto Sportsmen show 2 + years back and YES that painted on wood set look terrible compared to the new production wood

The quality in those pics made me cringe every time I looked at them. Fingers crossed that quality control was higher on production guns. Here's hoping for the best......

They are Chinese guns, just like every Norinco they work as intended but far from pretty. Park is rough and tooling marks are crude and everywhere. Just like Soviet guns, ment to preform not look good. Like m305s and m14s are rough as heck

We don't have them yet. Fit and finish could be fine due to new production. the sportsman show version could be surplus parts for all we know

The only reason I doubt authenticity is because TI has an abysmal track record of providing updates. I have one on pre-order and I've only EVERY seen an update here (never by e-mail), and until they said the guns were at sea, I'd not seen any real update of actual value that would help me understand when I might see my rifle. Oh well.

May be IS legit. I certainly hope so.

They do just fine with updates - what they don't do is cater to the incessant demands for updaters by a few impatient people on this site. If they say 6 - 8 weeks, there is no need for any updates until that time expires.

Personally, I think if they did play by play updates with everything that was happening with the rifle, the wait would be even worse.
