Lol you can get 7.62x39 literally everywhere for dirt cheap. I personally don’t use corrosive but even new non corrosive is like $10 for 20 rounds

Your choice but they usually bring in unique and different things. So even if you buy it elsewhere they got it from TI anyway. I've never had a problem. They (TI )probably wish they did what lever Arms did with the K 12 Puma and just went surprise look at this
(Capital I guess but whatever). I've personally never seen so many impatient people in one place.
Now I'm not talking about you,I don't know your scenario but there are guys on here that have purchased approximately a month or less and are one here every other day "is it here yet" "Where is it in the ocean ?" They forget the fact there is over a thousand of them and
wonder why they haven't got a email update or a phone call to personally tell them.
I believe I just answered that one for some who are wondering where their PERSONAL update is. At this point 2 weeks is nothing. The interest you would get for a grand is nothing and anyone who ordered early got a free Mag a sling and $50 transferable in store credit a total of $108. I think it's pretty fair or I would have pulled the plug along time ago. Nadine is easy to deal with. I grabbed a Match 1919 and a BRS 99 no problem. So I won't be bad mouthing them.
Remember one thing, If it wasn't for TI you wouldn't have them at all.
They do just fine with updates - what they don't do is cater to the incessant demands for updaters by a few impatient people on this site. If they say 6 - 8 weeks, there is no need for any updates until that time expires.
Umm.. it's already expired. Thankfully they did say the guns were en-route this time, right on the day that 8 weeks was up, as opposed to the usual silence.
Looking at the prototype pics, can't say I like the phillips head screws everywhere. Not sure what the military guns have, but firearms are supposed to use slot heads. [/ANAL]
Phillips screws!?!?!?
On what the sling mount and buttplate?!?!?!?
You do know sks, AK and Valmets use the same too right???
As they are wood screws meant for the wood stocks
I've owned both real Russian AK's and a Valmet M78, and virtually EVERY variant of the SKS except north korean. On all those, the only phillips screws were on the plastic buttplate of the Valmet 78, and I hated them.
By the way, my Norinco Type 84 had slot screws, as did all of the norinco SKS's I've owned (10+ examples).
Guns look better with slotted screws, and slotted screws work better if you need to get one out in the field. Does nit bother me enough to not order the gun? No.
But I do hope they come with slotted screws.
Yea I changed from a fixed to folding today and they had it taken care of within a hour or so. First time dealing with TI and so far so good in my eyes.
Folding:
- Better for storage
- It is cool
- 80's hip fire
Fixed
- Easier to shoot
- Won't get loose over time
- Classic look
That is my rationality. I am getting fixed
