Ya he is speaking of the RCMP lab testing them, without understanding the process and thinking perhaps the Mounties want them as a patrol rifle.

I figured as much.....just looking for any excuse to keep this thread going!!! I'm not on the 81 boat and I know this takes ak mags but it's always good to hear your opinion fenceline.

This would be tempting though. I just don't foresee it coming this month, or even this year.

Anyone recall when exactly it was announced this was sent to the lab?

At least the advertising on their Facebook sote is promising....

"The M+M 10x... Not an AK" Serious. Thats what they went with. Pretty simple.

In April it was about a year....so they have been sniffing it out for approximately 18 months now!!! Supposedly the magic number for firearms awaiting frts. Some should inform m&m that the approval will be soon and they best get some inventory ready for us Canucks!!!

IRG had a bazillion ak mags for cheap cheap not too long ago. I imagine they still have em stocked. Not to mention if these come in at a reasonable price and start entering circulation the mags won't be far behind.

Quite literally the most plentiful magazine in the world.Magpul Mags a really good one as well so anyone who gets magpul should be able to get them.
