Who is buying a Type81?

How do they make a profit if they have to refund $1m but only have $750k? Either 250 pre-order people are getting nothing, or everyone is talking a $250 loss, best case scenario of course. Or the $750k is spent already...then what?
You must have been the janitor at some financial firm...or the secretary.

I just realized you haven't a clue about accounting, you are thinking about net profit.

Why am I wasting my time with a person that incessantly uses IF, EITHER and OR?

All I want to point out is, you kept saying all along that they are making huge profit at no risk to themselves and now you switch gears and said oh they lose their company but it ain't worth much.

We'll just have to sit quietly gazing intently to the West watching for our ship to come in, paralyzed except for that annoying eye twitch.

Look up what a "go fund me" campaign is...
Compare it to the T81 pre-order and tell me how it's any different, other then "go fund me" will guarantee a refund if something goes south.... since they actually have capital.

Lol. Not far off, though ti has been good about refunding anyone who backs out.

I see the point that Hitzy is making, he is ASSUMING that TI used our money to buy the guns in the first place and that if something goes south like they get siezed then they won't have the money to refund everyone.
I'm pretty sure a company like TI would have the capital to finance this project so if something does happen issuing refunds should be no issue. Yes they would lose whatever money they spent on the guns but that is the gamble they are obviously willing to take

I am in no way agreeing with hitzy as I still think his assumptions are completely irrelevant
If I was TI I would refuse to even sell him one of these!

WUT??? I don't know who you order from, but I've had items ship from China and arrive in literally 5 business days, regular mail. As an example, I got two Type 56 mag pouches in yesterdays mail, which I ordered exactly a week ago (more info in the locked thread). I've ordered other eBay items and it indeed took 2 months (usually the $0.99 eBay items from high volume sellers).

It all depends on how fast the seller actually puts your parcel in the mail box to ship. A lot of them will print the label, mark as "shipped" and then wait to package and ship other orders before yours goes out, which can take a few extra weeks.

Nothing takes MONTHS of actual travel, even by cargo ship. This is not Columbus' 1492 voyage...

I shippped camera gear to Shenzhen back in Mid July, basic Canada post shipping..... its STILL in route. Maybe the ship only takes 2 weeks.... but somehow, for one reason or another the entire process grows to months. Same goes for numerous Airsoft stuff ive ordered... Months.... why would a container full of guns be any different if importer choose cheap shipping to make more profit.

I sent a package to Israel that took literally 6 MONTHS @&%#! now that was BS.

And you know t1 is only worth $10 grand , how? Another assumption, perhaps?

So why don't you put your money where your mouth is and say loser will donate to charity of the winners choice?

This should be fine becuz mayors in competeting cities did that on super bowl.

I don't even know what you are talking about anymore...mayors betting on the super bowl? You know we live in Canada right and have our own football league?
You decide what they are worth...PO Box, no staff, very minimal product offerings, next to no stock.
