Grayboe Stocks

What's their construction? Their website is pretty cryptic. And by the way, I hope it sucks!;)

I have one on my rem 700 awr that it came with. I like it a lot. I've never owned a Mcmillan but have handled a few. So i cant compare directly but feels very similar. I have used HS precision and b&c stocks on several rifles. It is definitely a better suited hunting stock compared to those lower end stocks. In my opinion it is a great stock. Very solid with virtually no flex at all. It was a bit heavier than I expected but on the 300wm it still feels light.
Very well constructed and I would definitely buy another. The one I have has great dimensions. Narrow forend and perfect cheek rest.
I recommend them

I had one in McMillan A5 style, had to open up the barrel channel for my heavier barrel and do the dreaded dremel inletting for my dbm, but it worked and it was solid, and stiff, and heavy. The weight didn't bother me, it was a heavy target rifle and I didn't need to make a certain weight for personal or competition rules or anything. They seem to be made from some sort of folded plastic, it is a very dense, solid material what ever it is. I would have no issues using one again, but I order a fully adjustable McMillan to replace it, it was my high end dream build and I wanted the McMillan from the start, but with the 6-12 month wait, I grabbed the Greyboe from Gary to get me shooting.

the Rem 700 AWR (American Wilderness Rifle) have Grayboe stocks. I couldn't believe they were 8lbs out of the box, stock is a tank. Nice but heavy, too heavy.
