So for the square range crowd (F/TR), the Anschutz rail seems to be the go-to. But more and more of these PRS designed bipods are made for picatinny rail attachment without much wiggle room.
Picatinny has it's problems - mount a short section and it doesn't give much room for movement, et cetera.
I got to look over an LRA bipod recently and love the design for a lightweight bipod. No question the Joypod ($$$) and Rempel (### in terms of weight not hashtag) are the Cadillacs of F class. What are some solutions out there for a target rifle with an Anschutz rail wanting to mount some of these lightweight units made for Picatinny rails without giving up huge weight?
Or, has anyone tried putting a Rempel on a weight loss program? I've tried the Duplin and it's nice but flimsy - definitely has some flex even at F/TR weights.
Discuss.
