Hi! Fellas!
I have a pre-order for the T-81 with a solid wood stock.
A friend of mine had a curious question....
Tactical Imports has been taking pre-orders for this firearm for a long time.
So now... all these thousands of $$$$ are sitting where? And how does all the
accumulative interest translate into a small rebate for all of us? Or even
a gift card of some sort for accessories? Or does this just become pure profit?
And my question is....When are we going to get this firearm?
Thanks

TI didn't take the money and put it into a bank account to earn interest. They got a loan from a bank to pay Polytech for the rifles. The money you give them on pre-order is paying down the loan they had to take to raise capital for the order. The only interest is being clawed up by the bank. If you and your friend can;t accept this dynamic, then don't order.

Even if they only paid $500 per rifle, that's still an order in excess of half a million dollars. TI would not have had that just lying around.

Let's start a tally for these questions. Maybe then people will scroll back a page or two

This thread isn't even entertaining anymore. Unfortunately when the rifles finally get here there'll likely be 127 pages of #####ing about them.

Perhaps not. For now though, #####in' is a pass time while everyone waits... and waits... and waits...

By the time they get here, the T-81's will have full grown beards. I bet you that having to shave them off will be the first reason for people to b*tch, haha!

;)

But it didn't come from China

Thank goodness. We have Canadian manufacture to support.

Also, I see zero reference to origin of manufacture, in what I quoted. I referenced only the quoted phrase. Info removed in the quote was irrelevant. No mention of China of overseas.

So your point is? How did I distort the info presented?

My preorder was in my hands in a month and a half from when I put the cash in.

Your point is relevant to the Type 81 How? I think your on the wrong thread your looking for for the NEA 102 thread. Seriously

totally different situation... For whatever the reason the type 81 didn't go into production until exactly one year past the deadline...pretty sure it was stated that a government order pushed back all other production. Even in Canada, If BCL had a government contract for a different platform, then my bet is they would do it first, because the contract would no doubt have a deadline and is literally money in your pocket, use that to ramp up for the still hypothetically delayed 102. And that's having a choice in the matter...but it didn't happen with the 102. It happened with the type 81.

People need to STFU and just enjoy all these new guns we've been getting these few years. Something you don't like? Don't get it. Stop #####ing like a baby on the internet.
