- the M+M Industries, Model M10X firearm does not incorporate mechanical, aesthetic or other design features that can be traced directly to any particular firearm; it is therefore not considered a variant of any firearm found in the "Prohibited Firearms Regulations" or the "Restricted Firearms Regulations" appended to the Criminal Code PART III, Section 84. - similar to many other post 1945 firearm designs the M+M model M10X is a recycling of design features of at least four different firearm designs; however, its lineage cannot be traced directly to any one single firearm design. - there is no full automatic analog for this firearm as of 2017. - the upper receiver assembly, to which the barrel is fastened, inside of which the breech bolt reciprocates and upon which the Make, Model, and Serial Number information is marked is considered to be the receiver/frame. - this firearm design incorporates a two-piece receiver, the upper receiver is the master component of the receiver/frame for all purposes of the Criminal Code and The Firearms Act.
