I think that thanks to EPA closing majority lead mines recently that price might still be higher and soon....
To bad I got rid off majority of my w-w stash so cheap.

I consider myself an example for others in saving the planet by salvaging lead. Imagine geese and ducks swallowing by accident buckets and buckets of wheel weights thinking is grass. Or me getting rid of of lead in any shape put the paint containing lead companies in deep troubles as they will find lead less and less lead to use. I think I'm doing a good job in cleaning the streets of that poison.
The amount I have in lead and linotype is way over what I cast and shoot but being a planet savior I just can't stop collecting.
I'm a man on a mission.

Nice cautionary. Looks like I need to find a local source. I am concerned that wheel weights are tending to be of less lead than the good old days. Saskatoon is not far, I may have to make some calls. Hell, do scrap yards sell lead?

Scrapyards do sell lead.

I bought a 3 barrels of lead (only 2000 lbs) from a scrapyard. This might be a good time of year to be hitting them up as all of the summer cleanup projects should be coming to a close, and they'll be bundling up their stash to sell on down the line soon, I'm thinking
