So, I've had some issues trying to zero and group with my AR and Strike Eagle.

2 clicks left at 50 yds and the POI has shifted 4" at 50 yds. I fire a nice little group, then I try and go 2 clicks right, and my next group is like a shotgun.

I try and do a box test, not great.

Then I take a point of aim and dry fire. The reticle is moving in the scope :-(

So off to Vortex it goes!!

I had a sparc that wouldn't turn off. Turn around time was a week. Had it in 9 business days.
Of my 10 vortex scopes/ dots have only had to send the sparc back. Not bad.

I know of a couple of guys local to Vortex's office in Guelph that have walked in and had their faulty scopes etc. replaced with new ones no questions asked. They are very reliable and stand behind their product.

I am sure they will be back to you in a reasonable amount of time. Be thankful it's not a Bushnell being sent in for warranty.

Thanks for that.

And the trend continues... Item was REPLACED not repaired.. Some call that a clue.

I had the same thing happen with my SPARC, couple weeks and I had a brand new one at my door.

Yeah. The clue is its cheaper to replace a mass-produced item then it is to carry all the spare parts, plus have someone trained to repair them. It takes time to diagnose a problem, figure out what the correct fix is, and make sure that its fixed right once the job is done. If you just give 'em a new one, its a lot less hassle for both parties.

I bet if you sent them a $2000 scope, they'd be more interested in fixing it, but for a sub-$500 item its just not worth it.

Precisely my point. Vortex can send you a free scope until the end of time and still not lose a dime on the original sale, because the products are junk.
