Lets discuss the important factor, how has everyones accuracy been? SO far the best ive managed was 13 inch at 100 yards with a 45 colt henry
Be interesting on the 7mm and 308 to water drop the powder coated bullets right out of the oven, maybe a bit more heat and soak time.
Questions on powder coating. Is a powders coated more accurate than a naked lubed bullet? What is the powder for the coating made from? I assume you can get higher velocities wth powder coated bullet? Is it a time consuming messy job powder coating?.
1.
3. Some say you get higher velocities, i don't think its a big jump.
Try youtube and search powder coat bullets
Damn fine job of casting and PCing. Where about are you in this country, if I don't have to pay the shipping all the ways across the country I would sure buy a handful of those .453 HP to try for gopher slugs for my 45-70.
Thanks, I appreciate the compliment, unfortunately I'm down in the lower 48 in North Carolina so shipping cost would be expensive. If you cast or know someone that does you could always get the same mold http://noebulletmolds.com/NV/index.php?cPath=41_427&osCsid=74vsckn10etteqb32gm31s5qe2
