Not being a fan of bullpups pretty much answers that question.
Yup, I have to agree, he answered his own question.
That being said he can't go wrong with either. I don't have an X95 but I do have a TAR21 and a Modern Varmint.
In my opinion the Tavor wins in the compactness and manuverability department due to the shorter overall length and rearward weight distribution. But that's where the pro's end for me. I know it's extremely durable but all that plastic just feels a little Fisher Price like to me. Oh, I almost forgot, it wins in the cool factor department but in reality there is no benefit to cool factor.
My MV is by far my favorite of the two. It is lighter, has better trigger, quality match grade barrel, accurate, exceptional machining and attention to detail, canadian made (if that matters to you, it does to me), customizable (but does have limitations, not all ar-15 components fit), ergonomically superior, and ###y af!
So far both seem equally reliable. Neither has missed a beat for me yet.
If accuracy isn't a concern since you say most shooting will be within 100 yards the Tavor will suffice but if you ever have any intention to occasionally stretch it out you're in for dissapointment.
If you can, try both or at least hold them before you buy. Get a feel for them and go with the one that feels best for you. A Tavor shouldn't be hard to get your paws on for a good fondling but the MV may be a little harder for you to check out first. If you can't get your hands on a MV to hold or try, an ar-15 will be close enough to give you a good indication.
If I were forced to decide to only keep one of the two, it's not hard for me to say that the Tavor would be the one leaving.
