G17 Gen 4 or Shadow 1

No difference in the shooting results for me.

Many shooter said CZ is more accurate base on factory parts....but not happened in my hand so far....

Glock is relatively lighter but hard to control in a rapid fire

Depends what you do with it. Plinking, bullseye, IPSC, IDPA?

IPSC Production = Shadow
IDPA SSP = Glock
Plinking = Whatever you want

Tough decision. Glock 17, was my latest purchase. Color me a Glock fan! Love the low bore axis. Quick follow up shots, for such a light gun. But, man I love my Shadow 2. Do what you can, to keep them both.

For a lifetime purchase the Shadow.

For a plinker...the Shadow...

For serious competition in IDPA, sell them both and buy the Glock 34 or M&P Pro or the new PPQ M2 Competition or the SIG 320 or any other striker fired pistol.

For serious competition in IPSC Production the Shadow or any other DA/SA pistol.

For relaxing enjoyment and fun shooting either sport either will do.

I doubt there is a modern pistol in the marketplace that has a significant advantage over any other assuming decent sights and a trigger tuned to the sport requirements, for most shooters. Find one you like and go play or plink.

Keep them both if you don't need the funds to buy another pistol.

Take Care

Not sure why anyone would own a polymer pistol as a range gun... If you can't carry, there is no point.

That being said, nothing beats a polymer framed striker fired pistol for carry.

I hate my new Gen 4 Glock a little less than I hate my Gen 3 Glock, so I would reccomend the CZ, which I enjoy shooting quite a bit. :)

What makes the Glock more appealing for IDPA?
