work on mk12 spr project, only thing that I need is the mark4 scope, does not want the 50mm obj one, the only one that I am able to find is 40mm with M3 turrent cap, specification is 168gr 308win. will it work for 223 projectile, 77gr, 75gr, 69gr...
any gunners? your answer will be really helpful.

No, it's meant for a specific round 308 168gr and a specific muzzle velocity. There is turret caps for .223 though and Leupold, may still be able to make em for other calibers. I may have the 223 one, pm me if you buy the scope and want the 223 turret.

You can get the Leupold custom shop to make you custom turrets cap if you want. You'd be better off getting the scope with the M5 turrets though as they're in 0.1 mil increments unless you're dead set on setting this up "clone correct" in which case, I have no idea what specific scope was used on the SPR.

Agreed. If you muzzle velocity varies much from the posted speed for that load, as you get farther out the cookie cutter dial will be less correct. Unless you crono your gun exactly and always shoot at similar temperature and alititude.

I’m sure you could find a load to match up, my Razor gen 1 had a conversion for 168gr 308 in the manual, the 62gr markings weren’t far off. But shoot it at those ranges and get the sharpie out and your GTG
