Because the stock barrel, and i imagine this one too, is too fat to put a qd swivel in there. Tried it on mine, doesn't fit.

I believe it is the barrel nut, not the barrel. I could be wrong.

BCL's barrel band/hand guard nut blocks the QD slot in the hand guard.

It's not the specific caliber that's the issue. They aren't going to do it. They do have a 9mm version though.

Finally put her together (wrong barrel nut was shipped ), 12.5" SLR Helix. Added a roller cam pin, and modded some P-Mag ranger plates to work with the XCR mags. Now to get some more range time in...

Why is everyone so fixated on this? It's easier to make a hole bigger than it is to make it smaller... find the reamer you like and fix it.
