It's sad how all this #### player out.

We ALL should have been happy to be getting another sweet NR x39 rifle but look what this turned into.

Very sad times for Canadian shooters

Quite the reception. I hope Mickey+Mouse enjoys their stock sitting on NS's shelves ;)

I rarely post on other competitors paid for sections of CGN but I think this needs to be addressed. From time to time you may have some public confrontations between retailers (and distributors as well) but these are rare. Most retail customers would be surprised at the friendly and social interaction by email/PM and in person meetings at various trade functions (distributor shows and SHOT). I have even been to a few competitor private homes and have had others stay at my house. There is still a healthy rivalry amongst dealers as we are all competing for the same retail dollar. With a few rare exceptions I feel comfortable in sharing a drink, meal or honest conversation with most retail competitors as this is a small industry in Canada. I am saddened at some of the accusations towards Wanstall's and Canada Ammo with regard to the M10X importation issues from people not directly involved in the wholesale transactions. I am proud to be in our industry and wish my honest retail competitors good luck. Phil.

I stand by what I said. Proof is in the pudding. North Sylva is exclusive distributor for Canada. There might be some friendly competition here and there, but most from what I've seen is that they'd stab you in the back and sleep with your wife.

At $2000, we should be happy?

Pee your pants in glee, if you want.

As a few others stated, I am definitely out.

So I wonder how it will all play out? What kind of volume does Wanstall's have spoken for (numbers of pre-sale) that they are guaranteeing? And how are they going to get them? Did M+M just cut them out, that they will have to secure through NS?

Is it another sweet NR x 39 rifle? I lean towards being in full agreement at that. But that thought gets blown out of the water, by the pricetag and the BS involved.

Did I say at 2000$!?!?!??! Nah I don't think I did but before the price was even set people like you were already piss ing on it

Hopefully they chime in to calm the nerves of the ones who pre ordered (even if they don't, could mean nothing has changed either)

I think an update from Wanstalls is needed. With a changr in timing and much larger change in pricing a simple... you guys are ok.... would go a long way.

No - you didn't. What you did say, however, is that you would pay $3500 for this rifle. Check back on your posts, it's there. Did someone hack your account? Because if that is the case, I take it all back.

So by saying we should be happy, AFTER the $2000 price was announced, I think it would be safe to infer that you have no problems with that price, either.

Some of us have something called common sense and foresight, and can damn well tell where something is heading. You, maybe not so much. Aren't you also in the T81 pre-order; championing that from the beginning? Telling everyone how it's just an ETA, and all kinds of other drivel. Can you guess why they have not been able to sell 1000 rifles, at $1000 each, in the Canadian market? Some of us don't have to guess.

I guess it's hard to detect sarcasm on an Internet forum :p isnt it then.
No meaning before any of this #### storm even happened, people were already taking sides and blasting companies for stuff they had no idea on while (again before pricing) we should have been happy to see another fvcking NR rifle here in canada instead of poo pooing all over it to begin with

The politics of this, and watching it unfold has been troubling. Ignorance is bliss....

I'm on the pre-order, but my ethical side ..........it's screaming..

Well both Wantsall and M+M stated that the pre order price will be honored. The only thing that might change is the delivery date.

Good try, Wanstalls. There will be other cool stuff for you to bring in. Just heard North Sylva is peddling these at $2000... No thanks. I can't justify spending that much on this type of rifle.
