M10X Canadian MSRP set

Considering all the comment about MM subsidizing poor US sales by gouging Canadians it's hardly surprising they misread the Canadian market when they so poorly read their own. I mean even at their original US MSRP it was over priced for an AK ish rifle in a market that could buy quality actual AKs for less. If I was buying a 7.62x39 rifle in the US I would have little reason to even consider the MM version.
 
Price will drop when NS sees these collecting dust in their warehouse. They are the importers of the T97 POS that was $1150 initially (and our dollar was par at that time), now they can be found for $700 and our $ is 30% lower.
Wait for IRG, they should be able to do something reasonable.

I would not trust or count on irg at all on this. irg work WITH m mouse and it is more or less the same thing going on between ns and mm. the m10x has no market in the us. mm has already increased msrp specifically targeting Canadian market and irg is just playing along.

I think it looks fine next to the latest tacticool AK offerings (AK-15, Krebs etc) and the decision to offer a reasonably priced modern AK style system makes sense in the U.S. market, where interest in vintage style AKs is dwindling, but I think they skipped their homework when it came to the Canadian market.

Maybe my memory is slipping but didn't IRG try to pull a similar deal with the K&M 17S but backed off after Gunnutz members raised a sh*tstorm about it? If I've mixed up the details feel free to correct me.
 
I was very interested in this rifle and would pay a fair price ($1599.00 to $1699.00 maybe) but the combo of NS and $1999.00 means I'm out! I'll be happy with my T81 and cheese grater rail. My Sks-D will have to scratch my AK mag rifle itch for a while longer I guess.
 
Fill M&M's inbox telling them they're ***holes.

Not that it matters because Canadian gun sales are a drop in the ocean compares to the US market but still.
