I bought those. They work ok. Had a couple rnds nose dive on me (thankfully not during a match) but that was before someone on CGN mentioning the followers had extra flashing around them causing them to not run as smoothly. These don't work with the MecGar +2 bases without some fitting. Knock on wood, my fitted ones haven't broken off as yet.
I got most of my MecGar mags from Als but they're sold out at the moment.
Hey Paul, yeah, I haven't had a nose dive incident since cleaning off the flashing and that was about 2 matches ago. The ammo still rattles a little when the mag is loaded, unlike the MecGar ones which barely rattles, if at all.
It's a little bit of a trick to getting the follower out and back in but once you get the hang of tipping the follower vertical for it to fall past the constriction, it gets easier.
I purchased the whole set of 4 from Corwin for my CZ 85 police trade-in.They are stamped "CZ 75" but fit the CZ 85's superbly. The mags are made in Italy and their quality is excellent. It really doesn't matter for me if they are the MegGars or not as long as they work well. They work in my CZ 85 like a charm. No problems with feeding at all. I highly recommend these mags without any hesitation.
Thanks for the lead, never heard of that site. Like Trin, I’ve been looking at Flaherty’s, ($33.99) been on the email list forever. A friend and I are looking for 10
