Back at it again.

Picked up dies, a new manual, powder, bullets, primers and dusted off the old Lyman. First home-loads in more than 20 years; first pistol home-loads in more than 30 years.

My old press looks like this one:

Great feeling isn't it ? I went through a similar dry spell some while ago although not as long as yours. I'm loving being back seating bullets with a vengeance.

Wow that press looks so solid! Definitely beefier than the current offerings.

I like it. I would like to get some primer mechanism parts; the aluminum casting that holds the tubes, plus a spring, but it seems they are obsolete. The steel lower part with the pusher is the same... Maybe the new turret will fit, and I could use the new style??

It's working for now with a big elastic band LOL.
