It would be pretty slick to get an (eotech?) holo sight mounted.. anyone know of any good options? (probably already covered).

Did you order the quadrail forend when you ordered? Should be able to do a scout type setup with a dot sight as long as it's solid.

I said no to the rails, I'm keeping this as simple and light as possible. It's going to come along when I take my dogs for walks and I'll take it for quad rides and Jeep rides, I'll find some soft point ammo and a deer to point it at this season. Just a fun and simple utility rifle.
I wouldn't mind being able to mount a flashlight on it though.

I considered this option as well; with a simple Bushnell "AK Optic" branded red dot (this is easiest option)....but man, that quadrail is sooooo fugly.

Canada Post just knocked on my door.

it was not the Type 81.

Youza.

I remember TI said there was more type 81SA were produced, it is just not shipped to Canada in this TI's order. If TI sees the continue interest of type 81SA, they can bring in another batch I guess.

Canadian market is the only buyer of the semi auto version of it anyway.

The additional units produced are for us, we will be looking at another shipment around Q1.
