I for one wouldn't expect a Chinese military rifle to be near cosmetically perfect or able to pull off sub 4" groups at 100 yards. The Type 81 is a mass produced military based rifle never intended to be a precise bench shooter by any means and I'm sure people will see minor cosmetic blems.

No doubt there will be people who overreact on here if things don't "look"perfect, those people will need to be reminded that the fine folks at TI are able to bring in a military rifle that somewhat resembles a AK for only $999.00 CDN. :cool:

I guess you dont understand that there are seveal other rifles that take AK mags, and the one Kingjenky has is extremely rare.

I think the word of the day you are looking for is "PROPRIETARY" not prioritized lol

It’s not damaged tho, it’s a cut out in the wood it was my mistake and I own a 305 I’m well aware it won’t be best in show lol

Yes I understand that a select few in this country take ak mags, what I am saying is the number is so low and rifles rare that it’s a silly reason not purchase a otherwise good rifle because of it. Yes the word was ment to say proprietary lol, when 90% of non AR platforms take there own mags it doesn’t make sense to me to pass on an otherwise solid rifle, as it’s not a common feature here

Thats right same as me but to others it does. I'm sure once people start seeing pics of these they will sell out in short time.
 
I check this thread far more than I'd like to admit. Feels surreal that they'll be in our arms in a few short days after all the delays, naysayers and trolls. This thread will go down in cgn history considering last time I checked it had surpassed 291k views
 
Man I'm soo stoked! If they get them today and start shipping tomorrow I could have mine by Friday or Monday. I'm close to TI and should be very high on the pre-order list. If they indeed go in order anyway. Not sure how they would break down the shipment and get it ready to process and ship out.
 
i suppose TI will have their hands full all day today for unloading and all day tommorow for shipping, and possibly beyond that.
The only update i am now waiting for is for the gun to show up at my door.
