IIRC older versions of the Baby Eagle had these. The original non-rail versions, and a number of with rail versions (One was for sale here for quite a while, at a modestpremium) were all with frame safeties.
I know a lot of folk say that the frame safety is the best, but I own a slide safety version and it is an awesome pistol. So like most things, its a personal preference thing really?

Thanks for your reply. BTW, according to this: http://iwi.net/jericho-pistols/ there are still frame safety models in production, namely Jericho F (which is Canada-legal).
When will the new Desert Eagle 3 hit the Canadian Market? They are available in 9mm, 40, and 45 cal in both Steel Frame and Polymer. They are no longer called Jericho. Called Desert Eagles.
There's been a lot of both noise and some valuable information, but it would be great to hear from North Sylva.
Good luck with that, I have never had much luck there, they are an importer / distributor that prefers to talk only to the gun trade.
