Spuhr Trijicon MRO Mount Review

Meh - when i saw 'Spuhr', I expected it to be stout.

There are already a ton of good strong MRO mounts available in the market. With no QR, this one is pretty niche in my opinion. Unless it's cheap (my guess is $200+ so, not cheap), I'd take an ADM or LaRue anyway.

what ? no quick detach ? hmm ! No, Thanks. I would stick to my Larue, Scalarworks and ADM mount instead. I have three of them, all are excellent choice.

There are already existing QD mounts in the market, so why would Spuhr make something that's readily available?

To compete in the market, the reason every company builds anything. Why limit their sales to one type of mount, most people I know with an RDS want QD, as long as it holds zero when remounted.

I had never heard of scalarworks until just now and was about to buy a larue for my mro.

Where did you get your scalarworks or did you have to do irunguns to import?

Thanks in advance.

Look into Kinectic Development’s QD MRO mount as well, locks up solid and keeps zero. Sold mine but will be buying it again after realizing it was the best setup I had for AR optics. Rampart sells them, not sure if anyone else does.
