Ring height question

I am looking to purchase a set of Burris xtr signature rings but I don’t know what height rings to get. The scope has a 1 inch tube and a 40 mm objective. It will be mounted on a 20 MOA rail on a browning x bolt long range. I will probably be using some of the forward cant available in the rings.
Any help would be very much appreciated

You'll want the lowest possible for that setup. XTS Sig Med. And you'll probably still need a stock pack or riser to get a good cheekweld.

Buy the rifle, buy the scope. Then measure how high above the action you need to have the scope so that the objective bell clears the barrel by about a 1/4 inch, 6mm. Yup then buy the rings and bases to do this. If you happen to buy either the rifle or the scope, or perhaps both, from a gun store they will probably help you with getting the set up you want.

Have both the rifle mad the scope and the rail. What I’m trying to find out is what height rings to use.
