T81 is way lighter also, being stamped metal, and T81 rear sight is very very robust. many pluses on T81 VS others tacticool SKS, VZ alike. the T81 mag feels bomb proof.

bad news, bayo dont fit, the muzzle/barrel does not have groove underside so the ring on bayo wont go over.

Do you Guys ever stop to think.. That the guys at TI are spending half the day... reading what we are putting on this thread... and are shipping the rifles in a order.. to try and drive us insane?

Based on the above photos the bayo is def not long enough. The bayo distance from lug to ring is 5 inches so looks like will be about 1/2 inch short to rest on the last muzzle ring,

Which is exactly how long this muzzle device and barrel are over milspec. The barrel threads farther into the grenade launcher than on military models to take up some of the extra barrel length.

On that tape measure at the 6 inch mark you can see the spacer that has been added to bridge the gap of the grenade launcher sleeve and the front sight.

There was some discussion earlier with pcvando, some info he received from TI indicated the barrel was only about .75 inches longer than the restricted barrel based on the reasons you cite. If that were the case the bayonet should have been very close to fitting properly with, instead of, the bayo ring resting near the front front of the barrel it would have rested close to the rear ring on the muzzle. Doesn't look like this is the case however. bummer.

I know Dilligaf is planning on lengthening the tang of the bayo and then fabricate longer scales but I think I'll just purchase a lug extension to compensate.

Something like this. But then again I really don't see a use for any of this except for a photo op maybe.
