M+M CEO Considered Pulling M10X Rifle From Canada After Brouhaha - CDN Gun Blog

I guess the "doubling" isn't a negative, or the double action trigger with no idea when it's going to break are good features too lol.
The point went over your head obviously. The rifle was released like that, by idiot M&M. That makes him an imbecile, not a genius. That's usually the problem with idiots, they don't know they are idiots.
I guess you hold Robinson Armament, NEA and some others in the same category then because they rolled out new platforms that had horrendous issues making the consumer the beta tester. Even the MH which is made in canada was not problem free before release

So a guy's best bet is buy off of IRG.. Then if you have problems they can ship it back to M+M..
Not dink around with NS..

Exactly. I talked to IRG they told me to order away...... The usual 3rd party importation rules apply.

I've owned ZERO NEA rifles, bought parts 4 times and they were all defects. Ryan at SFRC was great, gave me full refund and a free replacement part each time (I only asked for a refund, he goes way over and above). If the 102 gets its #### together I'd try one of those...on the condition of full refund if it's a lemon would be mandatory however.
Rob Arms are nice guns, with fantastic support by Wolverine Supplies. It's not a risky purchase when you have guys like that supporting the product.
Now when you have an unproven, overpriced rifle, with a scumbag idiot owner like M&M, and a bag of #### distributor like NS backing it.... there is nothing reassuring about the $2000 price tag, and nothing at all making me want to buy one anymore. The more I research the more I see what a joke the rifle is, and what a joke the owner is.

link to data?

March 2017 AK Forums in the US.

" Not seeing any M10X Zhukov models out there either. There were a few produced, then they seemed to disappear. I happen to have one, and wondering if I have the 1 of 3 or 4 out there? Talk about a failed attempt at producing a pretty cool rifle. Anyone need an M10x Zhukov to store in the back of their safe? C'mon M+M, get your production act together!"

I think the US buying public knows a little more about said rifle than some on here.

The guy literally calls it a "pretty cool rifle" and he owns one.

Marketing may be poor but the more I read the more I want one.

Forget the marketing, it's the after-sale support that should concern you. Literally, they are not producing rifles. They seem to have run out of money and were not making guns. They now seem to be hoping NS will save their bacon.

The gunblog article basically admits NS is going to get all the guns and is effectively giving M&M the capital to produce rifles. scary stuff that were it not for a a tiny canadian market, Mr. Meier would be in the welfare lineup.

Might be pretty hard ot source parts when they inevitably go bankrupt methinks.

I was excited about this rifle.... I was even willing to pay $2000

however, I don't want an elite,i wanted a lighter base model one...well that's out. I mean I sold my beloved XCRM because it was to heavy, why would I want to replace it with a 7.62x39 that weighs nearly the same?

THen this shenanigans, It's like NEA all over but with an extra helping of NS BS thrown in the mix and a the source is foreign so if suppor gets pulled your absolutely Fed. Unlike the Robinson arms gun, the market share M+M are trying to move on is already flooded with very successful, and much cheaper proven rifles... so they might not even survive anyways

this is a joke too:

Also wanted to mention on a separate note, I talked to Jeff (VP of sales) a few weeks ago, about a simple quick yes no question, super nice guy, ended up chatting for roughly an hr while he was on the way to work. Come to find out M+M is actually in process of fielding the Zuhkov model to the Canadian Royal Mounted patrol, as AKs are banned in Canada, as well as all copies, however since this isn't an AK or copy, the design has been improved for import and is currently undergoing field testing by said group in small numbers.

I didn't realize that submitting for sample meant the RCMP were going to adopt it lol. maybe that's why it takes so long to get an FTR, the police need to field test it for 2 years first! but seriously how dilutional do you have to be? the RCMP would never adopt a rifle not made in canada, using an ammo that isn't made in canada, that is so over powered as a patrol carbine, and that would also lack range for high stress shooting due to the ballistic arc, it would be terrible as a patrol carbine, just like an AK, VZ or any other x39 gun.

this company has "fly by night" written all over it. maybe if they are still selling guns in Canada in 2 years, I might look at it again... till then I think it's on the "well i hope i get to see it at the range" curiousity list.

Interesting. I just watched a you tube video of Mike Meir in 2016 speaking about the various new styles of rifles they were releasing to the American market:
Pistol version , SBR , 14 " carbine , 16 " carbine and get this..... an 18.5" version as well.
NO MENTION WHATSOEVER OF THE 18.5" BEING DESIGNED OR RELEGATED FOR THE CDN MARKET.
When asked on.pricing he stated " retail for carbine length and longer was set at $1500 USD
Retail for SBR was $1100 USD.

My how things change lol

That man is a d@uchebag not worthy of the Canadian market. Good riddance.

.
not my experience with an earlier model xcr, many others had the same problems. Mine were never resolved either sold and took a bath with full disclosure it was a pos

I did somewhere before, Centerfire had 5 in stock for $1250 in March, have 2 still in stock. Selling 1 rifle every 2 months is pretty much the definition of failure me thinks...

And
https://www.centerfiresystems.com/p-5213-m10x-762x39-side-folding-rifle.aspx
I mean production numbers and units sold data to back up your claim that the rifle isn't selling

How do you know the two they show in stock are from March? Gun stores get shipments daily, they could have sold hundreds....
