Just dropped as NON RESTRICTED!!!! Just saw it on their Instagram.

Listed as multi calibre... the frt only lists 223 currently. It takes ar15 trigger group and is noted not to trace a lineage to any restricted or prohibited firearm.

But does use a "T-Slot assembly interface reminiscent of the prototype AR-10A serial number XN03, a removable trigger housing and compatibility with many AR-15 components."

Apparently you can indeed make a 223 variant of the original AR10 design and not have it be an AR15 variant...

Note the lack of a front take down pin... Only the rear is used... reference the T slot remark from the prototype ar10 design.

Maccabee is out of Calgary. Never dealt with them thru to purchase before. Seems like Calgary shooting centre is aware of them.

The Instagram pics were taken on the Calgary shooting centre cinema range.

I really hope we aren't gouged on price on this one. Those DAMN price pimps will pay ANYTHING for stuff they want.

I personally am not interested in 223 cal rifles so this isnt a big deal to me butni hope the importer/company/distributer doesn't F you guys around for who would actually PAY anything for your very own NR AR platform rifle.

Let's just hope it isn't to the effect of 3500$ + & up like the MV

It isn't an import rifle. It is a rifle made in house by a Canadian company out of Calgary.

That being said, macdef is/was the importer for the Gilboa rifles. And those had stupid high mark up.
