The little puch in the tool kit is great to remove the two pins on the bolt,wich secure the firingpin and the extractor.

If you wonder what is the pentagonal shaped tool in the kit,its actually a gas port cleaning tool, to scrape aways the carbon. There also a cleaning rod extension in the kit and the usual brush and cleaning jag.

I ordered a fixed stock on March 21 2016 (day one) with 10 spare mags and got my shipping notice yesterday...all is well

You are forgetting that the shipment never made it to TI! They have a dedicated crew working on the T81's out west wherever it was that the sea can ended up. I would assume that their other product is being shipped from Ontario like usual.

The people complaing about slow shipping have a valid point! When guys who ordered 2 weeks ago have rifle in hand and people who ordered 2 years ago are still waiting on shipping notices there's something wrong! I chalk it up to them being a small business who don't have the same facilities as a larger business to properly handle a large shipment like this.

Not complaining or anything because that's just the way it is right now, hopefully they learn from this and in the future can be more efficient when handling a large order like this.

I am however kinda fedup with guys rifle in hand who only ordered weeks or months ago telling others to shutup and be patient! Kind a funny because if the shoe were on the other foot I doubt they would be patient.

the guys who ordered recently who received their rifles, as far as I understand did not order extra mags... They got the two that were included along with the rest of the preorders who only ordered a rifle and no extra mags, just as TI said they were doing...realistically I'm not a whiny little #####, and don't mind the wait...like a normal grown-up...

So here's a pretty simple analogy. You and your wife make reservations at a nice restaurant. Your waiting when all of a sudden other groups of people come in and they take them in and feed them, they pay and their bill and their out the door and your still sitting there.

Now truthfully tell me you wouldn't be pissed.

Remember there is some that are at the 2 year mark. So after having a few drinks watching others posting their new rifles, range reports, there is bound to be some resentment. Not trying to pick a argument but I don't think your looking at it from both sides.

If I made a reservation sure, I'd be pissed, but the thing is, I never made a reservation with TI, it was a preorder...so people who ordered 2 weeks ago have theirs already...so what? I'm getting one. That's the only reason I ordered early, to guarantee I'll get one, I was never promised I'd receive it before everyone who orders after me...again, I'm not a whiny ##### and it will arrive when.it arrives...

Might want to listen to yourself before pointing fingers. Trust me I hate having to come on here to attempt to find a update. Your as guilty as anyone else

Actually your post leads me to believe you have whinny tendencies. If not whinny your post suggest that your d*xk like tendencies. But I could be wrong.
 
The phrase "only thing more annoying than a smoker is an ex-smoker" seems fitting that past couple weeks. Doing what I can to lighten the mood.

I ordered extra mags. They came with the rifle. Mags were a separate order also.

guilty of what...I've been waiting patiently for my rifle and i haven't said a damn thing about shipping priority, times or price...I've been coming back here only to see what guys who have received theirs are putting on paper, and pics of their rifles...if I'm guilty of whining, it's whining about having the read through pages of speculation, accusations and slander towards TI...and I'm ok being that kind of whiner...so if that bothers you, you can whine about it don't care...

If I was in charge of TI this would have been one of the first things I did to put peoples minds at ease.

Probably because all available hands are on the shipping floor and people would complain that they were wasting time taking/posting pictures instead of shipping as fast as they possibly could.
 
This thread is unreal. Is anyone who makes a statement against the Type 81 "Zab"?

Someone posted a pic a long time ago from the factory showing the export rifles being shipped with a foam insert in the box, that I have seen. So whoever mentioned that (cant find it now) may be right.

I still have yet to receive mine. On a side note, have you guys seen the prices of the Type 81-1S in other countries? They are more expensive. Especially in Switzerland.

They also aren't anywhere near the quality of the ones we are getting.
