M10X Canadian MSRP set

Well, with all of the M+M haters now busy salivating for the over-priced NR AR clone it is worth revisiting value for dollar. Hmmmm let's see.. $2k for a complete, US-manufactured NR rifle that shoots the cheapest centre-fire ammo available, versus $1.8k for a fancy receiver set with all Norinco parts or $3k for a NR AR clone with US parts. Suddenly the M10X is a comparative bargain! Who'd have thought...

Only to the price pimps and fools easily separated from their money...

Sorry but supporting a new CANADIAN company and leaving as much of my money as possible in the Canadian economy is a comparative bargain. What goes around comes around. Simple economics. Who'd have thought...

You choose as you wish. I and many others have chosen Canadian :canadaFlag:

M+M has made it clear they aren't in it for us. You're free to support them if you wish. Just remember that when you do, what goes around won't come around.

Whatever makes you feel justified with your own hypocrisy is cool with me.

I dont disagree with you. And I think that a milled chunk of aluminium should not vary so much in price.... from a SLR to a normal AR... Understanding the issues of a smaller manufacturing and obviously they deserve profit for their time and effort in R+D....

But you are forgetting.... most AR owners will salvage the rest of the parts.... I would pay $1000 to have my AR NR.... so what is the difference.

Sure, the end product will be $3k.... but I already have $2K worth of parts.

You still had to buy and spend money from those parts didn't you!?!?

And I'm willing to bet that the $2k of parts going on most of those $1k Canadian receivers will be U.S.-made! So much for "buying Canadian" when 2/3 of your build is American-made and 2/3 of the cost goes to U.S. parts manufacturers.....

American price gouging= bad.
Canadian price gouging= good.

Roger.

At the end of the NR prices are ridicules Rob ARMs, Tavor, X95 whatever. Usualy as more and more people by these and more compition comes in should drive prices down but over the years all I see are prices for NR's climbing.

if you want prices to come down then stop producing the demand. look at the junk with the t81 $1,000 for a poorly made rifle and people waiting a year to get their hands on just because its NR. we the consumer create the price gouging. it has been proven on time and time again.

hey a new rifle made wherever and guess what it is NR !!! everyone pre order now only $3000 plus tax plus shipping. and then bingo the complaining begins about quality, reliability. then 3 weeks later the EE is flooded with them.

I am not saying I haven't bought into it before like many others but I'm not throwing money away anymore just for NR status. Just my opinion

Hands down those parts are us made. Or chinese. That's about it tho

Do ya think it will out shoot the SKS.

Maybe it will, maybe it won't. At the end of the day, I don't really care as I don't shoot 7.62x39mm for its accuracy potential. It is a plinking calibre for me, nothing more. The SKS is a bare-bones "everyman's" rifle that bores me to tears. I want something different, with modern modularity and optics mounting options. The M10X happens to offer those features at an (for me) affordable price-point. I could care less about all of the politics surrounding the "he said, she said" drama of the M10X saga. So what if M+M wans whatever maximum the Canadian market will bear for their product? Wouldn't any buisness do the same?!? It was all much ado about sweet fvck all, in the final analysis. Nothing but grist for the banal CGN drama mill that is now grinding away on the pricing of the Macabee Defence AR clone and the crap quality of the long-awaited Type 81s.

I am quite looking forward to my M10X. FVCK the haters!

Have you had a chance to handle the t81? I wouldn't exactly label it a as "junk". Rough around the edges? Sure, but most of us realized that was what we would be getting.
