M10X Canadian MSRP set

Seems the shenanigans that went down here on cgn has not stopped very many people from wanting the m10x dmr rifle.
Lots still posting they want it over on IG

I am not at all surprised. All of the needless "drama"" was contained to a small minority of the already small minority of Canadian firearms owners active on CGN. Putting all of the "he said she said" and pre-sale bullsh#t aside, the M10X is still an attractively priced (and intriguing new) option in 7.62x39mm. There is nothing to compete with the M10X's features set at the $2K price point. As expected, the T81 is nothing more than a crudely-executed 1980s design that is way overpriced for what you actually get. People are already expressing disappointment or "I knew what I was getting into" to explain away their let-down at spending $1.1K on a tarted-up SKS. I predict that the EE will be flush with T81s in the near future as the "glow" of a new firearm wears off and people see it for what it actually is (and isn't - namely an AK47).

I think that the M10X is destined for a strong run in Canada. Wouldn't surprise me in the least if most of the band-wagon haters end up eating their words and buying one of their own once the positive reviews start flowing North of the border in the new year. The hardcore haters are more than welcome to hold out and go without. Those of us enjoying our new rifles will be too busy to notice or care....

I have zero interest in a $2000 ($2300 with tax?) 7.62x39 rifle. It's the worst military cartridge around, every nation has dumped it in favor of faster and flatter. It's not accurate, cheap stuff is corrosive (literally that is the only thing it has going for it is cheap corrosive ammo), non-corrosive non-reloadable is about the same price as bulk reloadable 556.
So what benefit does the M&M DMR bring? You can mount an optic to see how ####ty your groups are? Same outdated slow ass rock/lock 65 year old design mag insert, trigger that operates like a DAO pistol/revolver with no stack/break, retarded ambi charging handle with no gasket that lets your gun fill with dirt/leaves/pine needles so it will lock up solid. Non-existent warranty support from NS
If dicknuts M&M had half a brain he'd make the goddamn thing multi-cal. This design in 5.56 or 5.45 would be far more interesting then in 7.62x39.
M&M will be tits up bankrupt by the end of 2018..., guaranteed.

Hitzy is dedicated to the cause now

LOL, since I've discovered the wonders of the ignore button I haven't had to tolerate any more of Hitzy's predictably rabid frothing about M+M Industries and the M10X. I must say that it has been most refreshing to simply bypass his useless and repetitive posts and those of several other similar "haters". Chances are, if you are a complete knob in one forum, you are an most likely an utter waste of electrons in every thread that you pollute. That is Hitzy and his ilk to a "T". Quite frankly, life's too short to bother with such immature butt-hurt. Not our fault that he wasn't shown enough love and attention as a child, so no need to tolerate his teenage angst. Just ignore the troll and he will eventually find someone else to pester in his desperate pursuit of attention....

Appears to be... North Sylva pictures.

Amazing. Looks no different than the $1100 version. So glad they were able to keep the original looks and function at the $2000 price point. I was really concerned they would have to make some changes to keep the rifle profitable for such a low Canadian MSRP.

Good point in 5.45.

Why is no manufacturer or importer doing 5.45 in Canada? It's popular stateside and a great round with lots or surplus on the world market...?

LOL, how utterly predictable and pathetic. Not even worth the dignity of a response. The guy obviously leads a very sad and meaningless little life...

I handled the gun yesterday and spoke with the president. It's well built and worth the money. President was a rather down to earth no B.S kind of guy. I think he got a raw deal here from the speculation bunch.

Handling the rifle right now & I am very impressed & more so after talking to the CEO/Designer of the platform. Ergonomics are spot on for me as are the over all controls / great feeling trigger & accuracy is not as described by another vendor - 1 MOA with Norma or similar quality match or hunting ammunition // 2-3 MOA is the average spread with a hodgepodge of surplus ammunition. NOMEX clothing engage let the flaming begin!!!!

Excellent news, thanks for the first-hand update! Did you get a chance to pull it apart? Was there any mention of the gaskets for the cocking slots? That is the only remaining criticism in my view - at least for those who worry about the ingress of sand, mud or pine needles, LOL. Any photos?

One of the prototypes was tested by the military which would include sand, was also driven over by a vehicle. Still chugging along even with a small dent in the shroud. I took it apart and I don't see it being any more susceptible to sand than an AK.
