The "What Have You Reloaded Today" thread

Waiting for a few lit bits to start 45-70. Cast some pewter into bigots and some wheel weights yesterday. Going to set up my dies. Also have to take apart some 45-70 reloads which were given to me. Busy day today.

Started on a bunch of 9mm casings that I kept throwing in a ammo box, been collecting them for a bit when I go to the range. It just breaks my heart to see peoples throwing them away so I bring them home.

3 different loads for .243. 100 grn partitions with some IMR 3841, and a few with trail boss, 80grn ttsx with hodgdon 414. And did a few bullet pulls and reloads of .22 mag for ####s and giggles

404 Jeffery. 440 grain cast from a Boomers mould. Sized to ..423 Fed 215 lrmp. Trailboss @70,80,90 percent. No crimp single feed. First run at testing this combo.

working up some PPC loads to test for accuracy. Testing Campro vs Berry's at 2.8 - 3.6gr of Bullseye :)

Pounded out an ungodly amount of .303 British for both the SMLE and the No. 4 Mk I and 30-06 for the M1903 Springfield.

Popped into my LGS and lo and behold the 8x58mmRD dies from CH4D finally came in (ordered in February -- and I won't tell you how much a 2-die set costs). 8x58mmRD brass is stupid hard to find (unless you want to pay $120 Canadian for 20 pieces of brass from Bertram in Australia, which I did for the 11mm Mauser last year) a fellow customer figured out that 8x56mmR Mannlicher-Schoenauer brass from PPU might be an option. Bought it for a relative pittance, brought it home and it resized and chambered in the Danish Rolling Block just fine.

Yeah, it's 2-thousands of an inch shorter but I don't even remotely see that of an issue, particularly since I have 50 brass for a quarter of the price.

All in all a damned fine day of reloading. Hopefully tomorrow -- if the snow stops falling -- I can start to unload some of this stuff. If not, time to do some load development for the Rolling Block.

Post a picture of that stuff when you get it all done up and ready to go.
