So I bought a 10/22 a little while ago. Used. 50th anniversary stainless with the American stock. Nice looking rifle. Finally got to the range the other day an find it's shooting to the left. Like 6-8" at 25 yards. I'm no sharpshooter but I'm not that bad. I start looking online and come across a post on another site saying that there was a known issue with some being out of spec. I pulled it out of the stock and took the bolt out. Laid it flat on the side of the receiver and half assed measured at the muzzle. There's almost 1/8" difference. Being a used and 3 years old, do I have any options?

I would check the barrel retaining v-block, as well there might be some heavy fouling between the receiver and barrel on the one side. Pretty much just take the barrel out of the receiver, clean, and reassemble with proper specs.

DID YOU TRY TURNING IT OFF AND ON AGAIN?

You're using the iron sights? Both front and rear are mounted on the barrel.

How would barrel to receiver interface affect the POI if you are using the iron sights?

^^This right here^^
I have one of the takedown models and I thought it was something buggered up but as soon as I noticed the rear sight wasn't centred and adjusted back to the centre it now hits what I point it at.
